MSU Denver Opera Theatre Ensemble & Symphony Orchestra

The MSU Denver Opera Theatre Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra present Engelbert Humperdinck’s retelling of the classic fairy-tale by the Brothers Grimm, Hansel and Gretel. Commissioned by his sister, Adelheid Wette, the pair adapted the tale to be more suitable for children and families with the introduction of new characters the Sandman, the Dew Fairy, and guardian angels. MSU Denver’s fully-staged production of this gingerbread and cake-filled classic is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Symphonic Band & Percussion Ensemble

The MSU Denver Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. David Kish, presents an evening of “Latin Funk.” The Percussion Ensemble, directed by Mark Foster, also performs.
